At Ironwood Land Services, we help East Tennessee landowners unlock that potential through ecological land management. Our work isn’t just about clearing brush, digging ponds, or planting trees—it’s about creating landscapes that work better for the people who own them while strengthening the natural systems that support them.

No two properties are alike, so neither are our solutions. Sometimes the right approach requires heavy equipment to reclaim overgrown fields, remove invasive vegetation, or improve access. Other times it calls for a lighter touch: planting fruit and mast-producing trees, restoring wildlife habitat and corridors, shaping the movement of water across the landscape, or designing perennial food systems that will provide value for decades.

Our perspective comes from experience, not theory. As a regenerative farmer and the manager of a 1600-acre hunting property implementing wildlife habitat improvements alongside USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service conservation practices, our ownership team understands the challenges—and opportunities—that landowners face because we steward land ourselves.

We believe good land management should leave a property better than it was found. That means working with the landscape instead of against it, improving soil and water, creating better habitat for wildlife, growing more perennial food, and making the land more functional for the people and animals depending on it.
